I also received a call saying they were looking fro someone with my name and if I knew the person I soul call back. I have done this before and was treated rudely when I asked them to how me proof of debt in writing. They refused and told me I needed to send them money today or they would take me to court. I said would see them in court and hung up. They refused t give me any details and were threatening. I was at work, and they called on my cell.
was called on my work line, automated message looking for me 704-266-4027 Five9 came up on called id, if I did not know the person they were looking for it said press 2, so I did, and then it wanted me to connect to another operator-hung up- so far they have not tried my home phone or cell, we shall see.....
They left a message on my cell phone stating that if I had any contact information for a Rondall Allen, call back and refer to a specific case number. I have no idea who this person is.
I keep getting these calls with an automated message, which I've always pressed "2" stating that I do not know this person. This time I pressed "1" to talk to someone. I share the same last name as the person they are looking for, but I have no idea who that person is. I asked how they got my number with a reply that they do not know but will (AGAIN) take my number out of their computer. She said the name of the company is The Patterson Group.
Very annoying. Recording leaves message requesting a certain person in a very authoritative tone, like the person is being sought for a serious matter. When I called back the number is a non-working telephone #.
Someone called me about my husband and gave me a case number to call back. The lady said she worked with Patterson Group. I told them not to call me and she said that's not going to happen (which infuriates me). I insisted on them removing my number since I was not the person of contact and she hung up. You can't call the number back. Per research online, seems to be a scam. If you google Patterson Group debt collection, everyone says it's a scam. No address or return number can be found.
