I have been receiving the same calls daily, telling me that I need to call TODAY, me or my lawyer to resolve a matter where my personal information has been compromised. Some of the calls are from an area 45 mins away from where I live in Arkansas, and the others are from Alabama, Colorado, and Tennessee with the SAME voice robotic recording, pretty much demanding you to make contact.
Some foreign dude calling from (708)983-7973 called my job and spoke with my boss today. My boss said it was difficult to understand the caller but the person calling told my boss that I had three criminal charges pending against me and I was going to be arrested by the state for fraudulent transactions or something if I didn't call back. My boss was really worried about the situation and wanted me to call the person back immediately to work it out. But I told my boss that the call was a scam and a fraud and even if I committed crimes or fraudulent transactions or whatever, strange phone calls out of the blue from someone with a spoofed phone number and a foreign accent (wanting money wired) isn't how things are legitimately done by real law enforcement departments. Everyone be careful and don't indulged these extortionist criminals.
Got an automated call from this number ask to verify personal and business address. Said they would call my HR dept next... clearly law breakers and scam artists.
I have no idea who this freakin people are but they sound like they really wanna scare by leaving you messages saying this is the last warning and good luck in court?!?! Who they hell are this people?!?!???
