I got a call from this number on my cell phone today. They left an automated message that the IRS is suing me and left a call back number of 315-215-1094.
Left a voice mail saying they are IRS and have been trying to contact me about filing lawsuit against me. The real IRS knows where I live. I urge you to go to IRS website, and file a complaint with the inspector general, tigta. They will have you create a five digit PIN, which the real IRS will know if they contact you. Which they would do by letter, not stupid pre-recorded voice mail. Will someone please arrest these SCUMBAGS?????? Don't fall for it.
Caller I.D. said "Payphone" 1-714-535-1665. I ans. in case it was an emergency from a friend or neighbor. Rustling (like tissue paper) on the phone, and I just hung up. Will block the number.
I just received a call from 714-535-1665. It had payphone on the caller ID. I did NOT answer it, but was left a recorded message that mentioned "This is from the IRS Internal Revenue Service is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 202-470-6094
