These MoFo's NCS (some rude [***] who calls himself mr duke) just called me and stated I owe wells fargo $1548 for an old bounced check from 2009 which I never wrote or remember writing and that I will be arrested by the LA county sherif dept next week.. I was shocked. I told him I will investigate this and take matters into my own hands. he started muscling me and being very verbally absuive. he claims he's a litigator.... LOOOLLLLLL........ I googled the company name and voila, this site pops up.. beware of these MoFo's. they're major FRAUD!!!!! beware!!!!!!!!!!...

Apparently this company is calling Florida now, i also got a bogus call about a fraudulent check i never wrote. I was told further actions would be taken.
I am also in Texas and have had very similar interaction with them! It seems not to the extent you have experienced but they actually called my work.
I have also reported to the BBB and Attorney Generals office. I also contacted a lawyer and looking into a suite against the collection agency and the businesses that use that agency.
I don't know how good the law office is, but it is "Law Offices of Dean Malone". ( www.deanmalone.com ) They are reviewing my case and are supposed to contact me.
