Well, even after I posted last I continued to receive phone calls from this company. Vented on the registry, actually had these guys call me at past 8 in the evening one time. I did find out that the company I got my home loan with had released my personal information and if I wanted my personal information kept to myself then I had to call a phone number to get taken off the list. They don't tell you this until 6 months after the fact and hundreds of harassing phone calls later! Since I removed my personal information from any lists (that I know of at the moment), I have not received a call from the Mortgage Inv again. It's still a bunch of bull that I have to spell it out that I want my private info kept as that, private.
They Have called at least twice a day for the past month, They are very pushy. They never leave a message on my answering machine. I have answered about 5 of the calls and asked them to remove me from there calling list. They have not, b/c they have not stopped calling...so annoying. They said they are Amerigroup Mortgage, and can reduce my VA loan mortgage payment by a 100 or so dollars. I tell them NO, not interested and they wont stop talking. They said that a loan officer can come to my house and explain it all to me. I told them NO WAY, REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST NOW! Usually they wont stop talking and I end up having to hang up on them. I have put my self on the DNC list, but that takes 31 days to fully take effect. So we will see. Does anyone know another way to stop them now???
Thanks...I did report them to the BBB. I live in SC and the BBB of West FL, is handling my complaint. Just google BBB, I think its BBB.org. Hopfully this works!
Keep getting calls from Mortgage Investors. I've asked three separate times for them to put me on their no call list. Each person says they would do it and to allow 72 hours. It has been way past 72 hours and the calls keep coming. Now, I'm going on the attack and I plan to call and harass them. I just added my number to the national no call list and then I will report them too.
More than 140 calls from MRTG Investors in the past month. We have asked to be taken off their list, but they still call. I'm glad to see that so many other people are taking a stand against an unethical company. Report them to the FTC.
Today they called THREE times. I have asked each and every time I am not hung up on to be removed from the list. I also just spoke with a man named "Guy" who is a complete [***]. I had better not still be getting calls tomorrow.
