THEY CALLED ME YESTERDAY SAYING THAT I OWE 3,000 DOLLARS. THE ONLY WAY TO SETTLE THIS OUT OF COURT WAS TO PAY $550.00. THEY WOULD TAKE 200 TODAY AND THE REST FRIDAY. THIS HAD ME SO FREAKIED OUT I WAS CRYING. WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THEM?
when they call you and ask for money...just laugh at them and keep laughing at them until they hang up on you...remember if they know your upset they will call you every day..this is nothing but a scam read the above posts..whatever you do dont give them your banking info and NEVER NEVER NEVER SEND THEM MONEY
I have been receiving these calls again too. It was from Steve Johnson and he claims to be from Anderson Law Firm and the number comes up at Miami, FL. He left threatening voice mails on my cell and also claims he will call my references and work and let them know what I have done. I am also getting calls from someone in CA too. These people make me sick.
I have asked them for a verification of debt and they just keep going on and on how they will send my file to the local authorities. etc.
I too have received several voicemails on my phone saying they were from Anderson Law firm, and my social is under investigation he even had one of my email addresses. In my case, he said he needed 400 orI would be subpeoned--I in turn said I would send a money order which he claimed that they could not accept that only a credit or debit card--it became apparent to me this had to be a scam because we kept around and around about how I would send the money order and he kept saying he only can take credit or debit--I eventually hung up and they have not called me back.
