Do not allow these (or for that matter ANY) retards scare u out of your money. First thing to try, simply state u r filing bankruptcy and any company claiming u owe them money has to be directed to your attorney. I worked collections for a good bit, there are laws protecting the consumer during a bankruptcy. As soon as a debtor says that, all communication with them stops immediately. It is illegal to pursue them any further, no calls, no letters, no nothing! If this idiot calls again the next day, then start to have some fun with it. The harassing calls are incoming, so I enjoy blowing a referee whistle into the phone, picking up and holding down a number for a nice long beep, heck, last week I picked up the phone and told the person I was going to follow him out to his car after work and slit his throat ear to ear. (i do not advise threats, but my personal issues have covered two years of these idiots)What he's doing is illegal, and my phone records prove I'm beyond being harassed. Tada! Make it a fun part of your day thinking up awesome things to say. U now have psychological control back and have a good laugh too!
This guy is ridiculous. Please do not waste your time talking to them. They are a fraudulent company saying your social security number is "under investigation". I called and reported them to my cell phone company and had the number blocked and also filed a complaint with the FCC. The guy that called me is foreign and has a heavy Indian or Arab accent and told me they were going to take action against me. I asked them "for what?" I have no debt, he insisted I give him my full name and social and I refused and told him to stop calling and I was filing a complaint with the FCC and reporting him he screamed "F- You" in the phone! I hung up and he kept calling every 15 seconds. I have them blocked and reported. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR TELL THEM YOUR NAME. IT IS FRAUD.
NOT NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL. It is a scam and they can not do anything to you. I had my cell phone company check the number and it is in another country. They will eventually give up.
i have been getting alot of calls from this number they also called my job and got smart with my boss which almost cost me my job, i was told that they have my ss# and that it was a legal matter against me. i get calls all day nonstop so is my place of employment this matter needs to stop, they also are using the name Anderson law firm.
The same happend to me but worst cause I did give them the info they asked. And since he said the name of a loan I got in the past I agreed to pay. I looked throw my papers and the name was familiar of the loan company. After giving them the info he said he will call soon with my conformation and hangd up n no answer after. Could I go and cancel all to my bank even if I fax a written paper?
