I just got the same message from this number & they knew my name i called my cell phone carrier & had them block the number because the message said they were my cell phone carrier & when i called them they said they didnt call
It is Verizon Wireless. Just answer and it is a recording. They give you the option to plan payment up to 7 days from the day they called. If this is done they do not shut off your service.
This appears to be a phishing / identity theft scam. If you're not sure if it might actually be Verizon collections, hang up and dial *611 -- then you can be sure you're really talking to Verizon. Real bill collectors leave messages. Verizon usually sends me text messages about bills.
There are complaints about this number all over the internet. Why haven't the feds raided them yet???
