We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
I answered the phone. They hung up. I call the number back and it was silent. same for phone# 971-220-1002 i call the number back and it doesn't even ring comes up as Teclo and 971-373-0141 comes up as DummyCourses. I have reported both phone #'s to the Do Not Call Registry file a claim option. since i've been on the registery we get even more calls from odd #'s. well they will get a fine.
Another "Cardmember Services Scam". At least this one just hangs up when I ask him not to call me again, most of them cuss me out. Since the call is from a computer with a recorded message, I think if you press 1 for more information it calls the scammer at his number 971-220-1002 in this case, so by pressing 1, he has to answer the call and waste his time with me telling him I'm not interested.
I have read what they do it you accept their "service" is sell you a way over priced booklet telling you how to lower your credit card rates by contacting your company and trying to negotiate lower rates or switching credit cards to get a low introductory rate. Obviously you can do this on your own without paying them hundreds of dollars.
They are serious scumbags and it seems once your number is on the list, you can't get it removed.
