Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
I hit 1 to get put on their do not call list. I connected to someone, told them to stop calling me, and was told by a woman "god you're a [***], what the f*ck did you connect to me for." Nice.
Here's how I stopped 99% of the calls. I recorded an Intercept Disconnect Message as my voicemail message. So anyone who gets my VM will think my # has been disconnected including these robocallers. If someone i know tells me my # has been disconnected, i feign ignorance and blame the phone company. This won't stop the scammers entirely but it has stopped the calls from multiple times a day to once about every 4 days or so and seldom is it from a same number, so i know it is working to a degree.
Just remember to tell your friends of your voicemail message.
I just got called by this number again. Last time I spoke with Justin and told him to remove me from the call list....that worked for three months this time..last occurances were about two to three weeks apart. They don't care that I am on the do not call registry.
