Its a bad idea to refur to the company as RCI, as there are multiple companies out of texas with those initials. Such as Resident Collect Inc. who are scum do to the fact they wont settle a debt they baught for pennies on the dollar even tho the debt is almost old enough to default. Left a message to call Mr Roberts and give a certain case number. I'm not going to use my minutes and I have no debt owed other than my home foreclosed 1 month ago and HUD bought it. Other than that I have no other debt. Not really sure why they would be calling me.
Got a call a week ago from from Jessica with RCI telling me I owed a bill to AT&T, I needed to settle before this Friday before it goes in to Litigation. I told them I never used AT&T before I should not have a bill from them. They told me it was for my husbands business. I told them I have nothing to do with his business finances she needed to contact him. Every day I get phone calls from them to my home phone and cell phone number. Today, Jessica called a neighbor and scared her to death telling her it was an emergency for me to contact them, they could not reach me because something was wrong with my phone. I called them up and told them to stop harrassing my neighbors on something they and I have nothing to do with. Jessica was very rude and told me she knows what her rights and limits are and who she can call. When I told her I was calling my lawyer she hung up on me. How are thes people getting these phone numbers and harrassing our neighbors.
