Have been calling several times a day for over a month. They are trying to solicit payment history information for our customer to build their "payment history" database.
They make it seem like an urgent matter with a case number asking us to resolve this important matter for our customer. The number they leave to call back just rings with no answer. 866-658-3140
I called the 973-929-3290 number and told them what happened with the other number, that we do not give out that kind of information about our customers, and to please stop calling. They pretend not to know anything about it then transfer me back to the unanswered 866 number. I did get put through to someone's voice mail after calling the 973 number back after they put me through to the unanswered 866 number. I again asked them to stop calling, that we do not give out that information, and that we are seriously annoyed at the interruptions and wasted time and resources. They called again after that in the afternoon. Complaint filed with FTC and will never do business with D&B or its affiliates again.
Got a call on my cell. I do not give out my cell #. Gave the phone to my manager her told them to call back to his number but no one ever called. When you call back you get some one who sounds like they are in India. Anyway. the job they wanted to do. I do.
Last couple days I got couple calls from the number 973.929.3290, women left message to call back 800-872-4349, which already seems for me very fishy.
One day I decided to answer phone and told person that we are not giving out any information, she need to fax this info to us. But the person didn't get it so she kept calling back... and I kept deleting her voice mail messages. Scam!
They have been calling me for about a month now. They seem to have some information about one of our customers. They leave the same message every time they call. Very annoying.
I did not recognize this number when it showed up on my phone display, so I let the call go through to voicemail. Turns out it was a return call from Kory at Hoovers, a Dun and Bradstreet company (there's only one "n" - check Google). I had called them to inquire about a list of businesses. The number is legit.
