Called asking for the old CEO who left over 10 years ago. He was "surprised" to hear that. Then asked for the new CEO. I asked what the call was about and he just told me he used to do business with the old CEO and he wanted to chat with the new one. There is no way I would transfer with that information so I sent him to a voicemail. He hung up before the call completed.
Tom from Tucker & Associates called our office to speak with the owner today. I asked 3 times what it was regarding and he said he was supposed to call him in the morning. My boss knows what it is about. I put him on hold, asked my boss and he had no idea who it was. Got back to the phone and the man hung up. I knew he didn't know my boss because he would of called his cell phone. The boss never uses the office phone. Looked on line and found we are not the first one
Man asked if Jxxxxxxx was in. I told him I wasn't sure if he was back from lunch but if he gave me his name I'd be happy to check. He then asked if he had voicemail, I told him that Comcast was working in our building and that our voicemails were down at the moment. Again, I asked to take a message and then he said "I'll just shoot him an e-mail", which I responded that that would be the best idea. Never gave me a name and would not leave a message.
