I also got a call saying he was DEA agent Garcia. He ruffles through papers sounded fake . HE told me to take it serious. It told him to call my lawyer and that he ws unprofessional
got a different call from jd ball- known as joel dean ball arizona- - he had people call my office and cell- posing as FBI agents- even as a lawyer- he is on thin ice- thats for sure- this same joel dean ball- stole all my furniture from my scottsdale residence which i rented. to him. i evicted him- he then hires a U haul- cleans me out- agents at the FBI have been informed- watch out for him- total scumbag.
I got a few calls from this number this week as well, first from a Lt. Mike Spencer then from a Lt. Nick Delgado. They asked me to wire $1,500 to US Customs and told me I needed to use one of their government approved agencies to do this. He suggested a Kmart. As soon as I heard wire I was suspicious the suggestion of Kmart confirmed it. He also had me call someone at a different phone number who confirmed his identity. Very shady. There is a number on the DEA website which you can use to report the numbers these scam artists are calling from. Not sure if it will help them catch these guys but I am happy to do what I can to help.
I just got off the phone with Nick... we was fairly convincing for the first 20 minutes...he didn't ask for anything just wanted to "ask some questions to clarify" then when I asked him his name he said Nick Delgado" so i said can you spell that for me... D E L G.D O..so i asked again... same spelling. then he said I can pay the fine from Western Union.... and it was comical from there...kind of funny looking back other than the 30 min waste of time..
Thank you for posting this, I also received a call from a Special Agent Nick Delgado at 202-239-5571 and I was scared to death until I found your posting. Thanks for confirming this is all a scam!
