I also got a call saying he was DEA agent Garcia. He ruffles through papers sounded fake . HE told me to take it serious. It told him to call my lawyer and that he ws unprofessional
I have missed several calls from this number, and today I answered. This idiot tried the same routine on me calling from 202-239-5571. He called me today claiming he is "officer Nick Delgatto with DEA enforcement agency" lmao!! Those were his exact words! omg this is great! The accent added to how funny the entire thing sounded. He couldn't pull it off even for one rehearsed sentence. The street slang just kept popping out, and based on his vocabulary, he sounds like he might have a second grade education , or less. When he goes off script the insecure little dime store variety thief presents himself, and out the window goes the DEA impersonation. Just ask him questions, anything, simple questions blow his mind, and he cannot think of anything to say, and he gets nervous and begins cursing, or stuttering. He has very simple undeveloped communication skills. In fact, he sounds as though he is either mentally retarded, or has a severe learning disability. It's comedy...pure gold comedy that someone so incapable of communicating intelligently, is trying to pull-off a phone scam. lmao! I got the "call" today! What an [***]. Why is this guy still doing this to people? He called me from (202)241-9282. He must be changing his # periodically. Ive never been in trouble with the law so it took me a few to figure out this was a scam. I entered his name in google and all of these comments started coming up. WOW!!!!! Cant wait till that Little [***] gets put in jail where he belongs!!!!!!!!!!! His gangster slang totally gave it away. And, the fact that he told me not to tell my husband because "my case" was confidential kinda gave it away too. What a piece of [***].
I received a call today from a clown with an annoying Boston accent claiming to be Special Agent Nick Delgado (how cliche' can you get?) from the DEA district 97 Washington DC. Suspecting a scam but also a little nervous because back in 2002 I was battling an opiate addiction and purchased pills from an online "pharmacy" (I'm 9 years sober!)
I immediately tried to call the DEA branch in Washington but they were already closed so I called the local office here in Dallas. Surprisingly, there is no agent Nick Delgado! So when my husband got home, we called the office and the same dork who had left the message answered the phone with an "Agent Chris"!! I asked for Agent Nick and he said in his overdone Bostonian accent that "Agent Nick was on the field". It was at that time when my husband spoke up and said, "wow, is he out catchin' bad guys?" We both started cracking up and he told us that this was an international drug issue, blah blah blah and "that we won't be laughing when the DEA shows up at our house." My husband asked him, "oh yeah? then where is our house?" AT that point he got raunchy saying crude things about how he has been having sex with me. Without missing a beat, my husband said, "didn't that make your boyfriend jealous?" As 'Delgado" yelled and went on a tirade, my husband kept saying, "sir, sir, can you please spit that p**** out of your mouth, I can NOT understand you!". We were laughing so hard he got mad and hung up. He also seemed nervous at first when he figured out that we knew what was going on.
What a jerk! I've filed a police report but, like someone said, these lazy crooks are so sneaky with using disposable cell phones or whatever it is they do.
I feel horrible for the people who have been scammed. Make sure you file a report on this guy. When they do catch him, it is a federal offense!
PS If anyone gets tired of him, the p**** in the mouth comment really sets him off.
