Got a call 202-864-1255. The caller introduced herself as an IRS investigation officer and wanted to get some information related to fraud. After I asked her to mail me the issue and do not discuss my personal information over the phone, the caller hanged up. This is scam. IRS never calls and discuss fraud over the phone. Be aware.
Got the same stupid VM message claiming to be IRS who is investigating fraud on the person who lives at this address. They mention no names and have very broken English. Number was 202-864-1255
These people are scum sucking pigs! I got the same call, they gave me the same threat saying I owed money and were going to issue a warrant for my arrest. I told him to go F himself and go ahead and issue that warrant.
I received the same message today and it was very upsetting. Thought it was a scam but still worried. The caller didn't mention my name so it was suspicious. I hope this creep is caught!
