Received a call today from this number also. Also sounded like a middle-eastern man on a fuzzy line. Asked for a person who, as far as I know, has never had our phone number (although we've received wrong calls for her in the past).
I received a call from this number as well, on my land line phone.
Scams come in every form and manner imaginable. Other immature and/or sick nuts just want to annoy. I wouldn't talk to these "intruders". Not for a minute. Simply hang up to break the connection immediately! Then report the number to your phone service provider (whether land line or cell) If someone is posing as a telemarketer of some sort, (whether it seems legitimate or not) then also report the number to the "do not call" list, as a violator, IF you're on the "do not call" list. Can't imagine idiots with so little to do in life that they sit round making random, annoying and/or rude calls! Crazy world. Protect yourself by reporting all such calls! We can never know if these nuts are looking for leads to identity theft scams or WHAT they're after. Whatever it is, is NOT good. Best advice: Don't engage in conversation with them. Period.
