RS does not file lawsuits. Tax disputes are civil matters. 90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively. IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job. IRS does not cold call anyone and all contacts are initiated by US mail.
Received a call from 471/667-2888. Message said to call 206/973-3241 IRS has tried to contact me with no success and IRS has a case against me for back taxes. I owe no back taxes. Thought fraud from the beginning but you never know. Tried to call both numbers and no answer.
Caller ID said 721 472-5657 but the IRS scam artist said to call 206 973 3241. They said IRS Is filing lawsuit against me. To review file please call the 206 973 3241.
Also using #202-470-0544. Have my police department involved now also, but still don't like being told that I am going to be arrested in a matter of minutes.
