It was just blank air. I hung up. I am on the Do Not Call List. We also don't ever receive calls on this phone except for the occasional telemarketer, so I was suspicious. Sure enough that's what it was.
Called at 4:53AM and there was no one there.....couldn't go back to sleep as I was so mad.....tried to call the # back and got a message it isn't a working #! Still mad!
Didn't know this number 213-910-8228 from CA so I let my 7yr old answer it figuring it was a sales call, kids are great for those calls.
This man "Charles" with a heavy Indian accent immediately started with "I'm from Microsoft Windows and we noticed your computer license is expired so turned on your computer so that I may fix it for you."
The kid asked who he was calling for and Charles repeated his line over and over for the 10 minutes the kid asked him that one question. Charles was not pleased and transferred us to another man named "Jack" who said he was looking for me by name. After telling Jack that everyone has a computer, that he needed to leave his name & number for a call back. Jack instantly said good day and hung up.
Total scam, never trust anyone giving you some [***] spiel over the phone.
very persistent to fix my computer, told him it was a scam and to take me off his call list, He could barely speak english, kept telling it wasnot a scam
