It was just blank air. I hung up. I am on the Do Not Call List. We also don't ever receive calls on this phone except for the occasional telemarketer, so I was suspicious. Sure enough that's what it was.
Just rec'd another one of those SCAM calls from 213-910-8228. I don't answer, but look them up & of course its a scam. I have contacted the Do Not Call List, I don't know how many times, but these SCAMMERS use totally different #s...What gives them the right to do this harassing things to people.

Got a call from 213-910-8228 - this dummy with an Indian accent said he was calling about the Windows 10 upgrade and they have noticed that hackers have tried to access my computer multiple times, and that it will just keep happening, but he can help me! Well, thank GOD for that!! :) he gave me a "license ID#", and said "this is the same number you have received on all of your Microsoft paperwork". I said " oh, ok then!". He wanted me to log on to my computer and see if this ID matched - I said "well, I'm at a different computer" and he got all excited and said "oh, so you are at a DIFFERENT computer?!". He says, "Ok, if you can push the Windows button and R at the same time a little box will pop up - do you see that?" I of course said yes! He says, ok now type this in "EVENTVWR" - I said "uh ya, I don't think so a**hole" and hung up.
Get a call from this number a couple of times a week. Say they are calling to fix my computer. State they are calling from Windows because I have "errors". Have asked them not to call again to no avail. I've tried everything-yelling, telling them I don't have a computer, asking for their phone number to call them back and on and on. Last week when I told them I knew this was a scam, they told me to go F*** myself.
