Call from Cleveland, OH; suspecting telemarketer, i didn't answer. No voicemail message was left. Am grateful for clarifications on this site, confirming my suspicion.
A man with an Indian accent said "I am calling form Network Department of Your Computer!" It was obviously one of those scams to give them full access to your computer. I had a little fun with the guy. He then "transferred" (handed the phone over) to some guy who said he was "Security department." He asked if I had a sister. When I didn't answer, he asked, "How old is your sister?" I laughed and asked "What kind of a question is that?" He mimicked me and said something like "I'll f*** you sister!" Then he hung up on me. Lovely...
They called repeatedly even the # is blocked, finally answered and use some VERY unladylike language, though doubt if they understand English, BUT they got a lesson in "street lingo"!!
Jerks called and it isn't even 8:30 am. Of course didn't answer but I see the posts that this is yet another idiot calling for my computer. Problem is that I don't have a computer at home, just this BlackBerry. More phone lice to block. Grrrrr
