My caller said he was from "WINDOWS Support" not Microsoft. There is a difference. Microsoft is trademarked, copyrighted etc. windows is not and can't be. Anyone can say they work for windows, Microsoft is a different story.
He got all huffy when I called hin a "pakistani scammer". In retrospect his English was so good he is probably Filippino.
Different day, different phone number, same SCAM. My call blocker is full so I have to delete the old numbers to add new ones. I wish Panasonic would come out with a phone that blocks more than 250 numbers. Thanks to everyone who posts here...the sharing of info is absolutely valuable!
This is a scam. They say the are calling from Windows. This is the third time they had called me, always from a different phone number. they also called me from 245-781-4722. The guy with an Indian accent said my pc had problems and he needed my computer information in order to fix it. I told the guy I had 300 personal computers at home hahaha. He insisted he needed the information on the one that I use the most. I told him that what he was doing was illegal and asked him to hold on so I could make a three-way call with the police department. He hung up.
