My caller said he was from "WINDOWS Support" not Microsoft. There is a difference. Microsoft is trademarked, copyrighted etc. windows is not and can't be. Anyone can say they work for windows, Microsoft is a different story.
He got all huffy when I called hin a "pakistani scammer". In retrospect his English was so good he is probably Filippino.
Indian accent male individual called saying he was from Microsoft. I told him that he was a scammer and that I was reporting him to the BBB. He told me he had my Microsoft license # and that he was blocking my computer forever. I ask him how he was going to do that and he just kept repeating it until he hung up. I tried to call the number back and it said invalid number.
