Got a call from them for the past 3 days. Called it back once, they won't tell you who is suing you. They give you 3 options, pay off your debt, do a monthly payment which is more or go to court. It's a scam.
These ppl called my phone like 5 times not stating whom they was calling for or nothing just tryna scare someone I pray no one falls for this foolishness
They aren't legit. They did this to us a couple years ago for my husband. Got old info on a debt that was owed and paid. They had the last 4 of his social and dob. That's all basic info that can be obtained by scammers. They threatened us with legal action. They try to behave very professional but once you start questioning the story they start to unravel. They told me that we needed to pay the debt and that we could set up 4 EFT payments (for more than the original debt). I told them we paid that 3 years prior and they refused to listen. Called me repeatedly. I told them that my lawyer recommended we document everything because they were crossing legal lines. I never heard from them again. This went on for several weeks. Just recently they started the crap again on MY phone for my cousin that lives in another state. The lady told me he gave my name for a "reference of contact". I yelled at her to remove my number from the database because that's a LIE. She told me that the number is staying in the system and hung up on me. TOTAL SCAM!!! give them NO information.
YEAH... they told me the only way to pay the debt (that we paid several years before) was through EFT. Legally they have to give you another means. They were persistent and kept threatening legal action. Then I consulted a lawyer and when I told them I did this, it stopped.
