Called me and I foolishly gave them info on my card, then called my card company to stop my card and issue another, just had a feeling that they were not on the level. Then discovered all these comments, glad I stopped my card!!
Received this call today. It was a recorded message from "Rachel" at Credit Card Services about lowering my credit card interests rates. I've had these types of calls before & I know they aren't calling from any of my actual credit card companies, so I just hung up. Very annoying though.
I got the call from 321-507-3218 offering to lower interest rate on credit cards if you owed more than $4,000.00 and they proceed to get your full account number, expiration date and last three digits on the back of your card along with the last four digits of your social security number. You speak to a couple of guys and they switch you from department to department and they continue to persuade you to divulge your personal information. Don't give out any personal information and if you do or have notify your credit card company immediately to make sure no fees are added to your credit card accounts. It's definitely a scam.
*Update*
Got another call from this # today, with the same message from "Rachel". This time I heard the correct "name"of the company. She said they were calling from Card Holder Services. This is getting really annoying! I'll be reporting this today...they've now called my home # & cell phone!
