My elderly Mother was called by an accented person and was told the same story and they requested her bank tracking number. When I got on the phone and began to question some of his statements, he became rude and told me to shut up you..stupid F$#%^ing idiot......who does something about this?? This must stop and the main insult....this is some foreign person..in Brooklyn, thats where the # is from, taking advantage of OUR elderly!!! , No company name was given. Now it seems as if this is wide spread!! Why cant law enforcement go after these ,they arenot people, scum these scum taking advantage of our elderly.
I am asian american. I speak cantonese and english. I have received this number twice today. I was not home the 1st time but answered in cantonese the second time and they caller went, huh and hung up. My family and I are laughing right now. Thank you for the info. The next call I will talk with them in English and give them a BIG piece of my English language!
