On July 26, 2012, I got a call from this number. It registered on my caller ID as "Financial Ctr." I did not answer the phone. On today's date, August 15, 2012, I received another call from "Financial Ctr." except this time the number was 503-457-1407. I answered this call. The recording said that this is my final courtesy call to lower my credit card rate to 6%; all I need is $3,000 in credit card debt and one card in good standing. It also said they have tried to contact me several times and that this is my final call for my yearly credit card review.
The automated recording did not give a key to press to be removed from their list; It said "Press 1 if you are interested in lowering your credit card debt..." So I pressed 1 and got a woman who said "So i understand you are interested in lowering your credit card payments?" I said, "No, but I understand I want to be removed from your call list." Before I could finish my sentence, she hung up on me!
If you get a call from "Financial Ctr" on your caller ID, DO NOT ANSWER!
I have done this several times already and every time they hang up on me. How am I to get off this list!???
Another call from these clowns today. Identified themselves as "Card Member Services" but my phone said "Financial Center". Get these several times a week. This time the number was (360) 474-3986. I'll start checking the number on the phone prior to answering from now on. This has been going on for a couple of years now. Everyone that finds these pages needs to file a complaint with the FCC, BBB, State Attorney General, State Senators and anyone else you can think of. Send them all the info you can on each call you receive from this company. This is a Federal crime.
This number has called repeatedly. We are on the "no call list". When I tried to explain that I wanted to be removed from the list they hung up on me. I hate these people. If I wasn't interested the first 3 times, I still won't be interested the next 3 times! GET A CLUE!
ME TOO! Good Luck on shutting these Scammers down, They don't care but making our lives miserable and make some money if they can, whats the old saying ? Theres always a Lolipop out there just waiting to be HAD. We'll see if the FCC gets serious to shut this number down & behind Bars.
