On July 26, 2012, I got a call from this number. It registered on my caller ID as "Financial Ctr." I did not answer the phone. On today's date, August 15, 2012, I received another call from "Financial Ctr." except this time the number was 503-457-1407. I answered this call. The recording said that this is my final courtesy call to lower my credit card rate to 6%; all I need is $3,000 in credit card debt and one card in good standing. It also said they have tried to contact me several times and that this is my final call for my yearly credit card review.
The automated recording did not give a key to press to be removed from their list; It said "Press 1 if you are interested in lowering your credit card debt..." So I pressed 1 and got a woman who said "So i understand you are interested in lowering your credit card payments?" I said, "No, but I understand I want to be removed from your call list." Before I could finish my sentence, she hung up on me!
If you get a call from "Financial Ctr" on your caller ID, DO NOT ANSWER!
I have done this several times already and every time they hang up on me. How am I to get off this list!???
from 'Financial Ctr' -- No answer from me . . . no mssg from them - i am heartily sick of calls saying 'there's nothing wrong w your credit card but it is urgent that you talk to us . . . ' and talking about lower interest rates

This is a credit card consolidation telemarketer. When I asked to be removed from their calling list, she hung up on me. Calling the number listed on my CID, I got a recorded option to be removed from their calling list. If it works, who knows?
I have NEVER posted anything about these types of calls. Too busy and really don't care. But what I just experienced is NOT ok. The number that called me was 360-474-3986. I wanted to be placed on their do not call list, so I dialed for an agent. I asked the individual who replied what company was calling. He stated it was "card services." I asked if they were from a specific bank. I was sort of concurrently trying to decide if it was a telemarketer or perhaps one of my banks. I was not prepared for what came next. He stated, "Look honey, I don't know who you think you're talking to. I'm not your [***] husband." I asked for a supervisor. He hung up. Are you kidding me?
I pushed "1" to be put in touch with a rep who assumed I wanted part of their lower credit card rate deal. When I politely said I really didn't need their services and would like to stop receiving calls (I've had many), the lady hung up.
Phone call from Financial Center, "Tim" was caller. He said our account with Experian showed we were up for review and could lower our interest rate if our consolidated credit charges were at least $3,000. I asked him for a call back number and he said "unfortunately, we are not set up to take return calls." I told I would not be interested if I couldn't call him back and hung up.
These are "fishing" expeditions looking for the next sucker to give them your credit card number. Don't buy it.
