I called my mother and her caller ID identified my number as this number (which it is not). I called Centurytel, our phone service provider, and they are looking into it. Ugh.
This is one of 5 unblocked numbers that Albert from Geek Support used while harassing me. He called me 65 times in just over 30 minutes. I asked him to remove my number, told him to stop harassing me, spoke only in Spanish, shrieked as loudly as I could into his ear, had my husband try speaking to him, and hung up time and time again.
Some posters said the caller claims to be reporting a computer virus in your computer that showed up at Microsoft. They never SAY they are with Microsoft, they only hint it. Their "proof" is that they will ask you to open your computer's windows error reports. Anything that sounds bad or shows up in red print, that will be the proof. Their "solution" is to get your credit card number to pay them to "fix" it. Then you must give them permission to access your computer over the internet. That's where the fun begins.
Wave bye-bye to the credit card account. Say hello to a ton of malware they installed on your PC.
Had someone call couldn't hardly speak English said they were from irs ask if I had lawyers to represent me at the court house something to do with my 2008 and 2009 taxes. Told I knew it's was a scam and the irs would have mailed me and they would have had someone call me that could speak English and hung up. About 20 minutes later they called again said they were with the criminal investigation depth at the irs. Told them I knew this was a scam and not to call again hung up. Curious to see if they try again.
