Always call and always leave half of a recorded message about lowering my interest rates blah blah blah. I answered once, pressed one to speak with someone, when he asked if I was interested in lowering my interest rate I notified him I was on the national do not call list and asked what their company name was.....I was promptly hung up on. Unbelievable get away with this!
got the msg saying I should contact them about lowering my interest rate - press1 to speak to blah blah blah, press 3 if you don't want to receive these calls again blah blah blah. That was the msg I didn't pick up. Called the number back 407-429-9999 and got a VERIZON prompt saying the number has been changed or is no longer in service. I'm sure it's all legal because whoever is behind it has a f'ing lobbyist in DC making it so. What a great country. BTW they just want your credit card number
I went away for a few days and when I came home, there were four hang-ups from them on the answering machine, one every day. They just called again. Ridiculous. We're also on the so-called "no-call" list but it doesn't seem to matter. Is there any way to make them stop?
