You are correct, these scammers have been around for so long, constantly changing the numbers so it is very difficult to catch them. They never honor the "press 1" to remove your number its there so it appears they are following the law. Whenever you speak to someone and ask a question they hang up on you.If I am home when they call I push the talk button on my phone then hit end call, they usually call right back and I repeat the process, this usually gives me a two week break before they start calling again. V05151033170144 usually shows up with the phone number, I am going to use this number and call Verizon, it may help to track them down, I will let you know. Good luck.
407-429-9999 just called and left a message offering to lower our interest rate on something otherwise unspecified. When I called back I got a message from Verizon that the number was disconnected. I too am on a no call list. This is more than annoying since I am dealing with a serious family illness. Is there ANY communications regulator, DA, class action lawyer or legislator who will go after these useless pests?
