My father got the same type of call today. Woman with foreign accent who is hard to understand and wanted bank information. Told him he would get a new card in a few weeks.
A person calling from 409-574-1214 called and said he wanted to send me a new Medicare card. Call came in under ID of "Name Not Found". I told him I was OK, that I had insurance with Advantra and did not need a new Medicare card - mine was fine. He then hung up the phone.
Just got a call from 409 574 1214 - woman with very heavy middle eastern difficult to understand started to say "calling to verify" and I just hung up on it.
Scammer for sure.
