Caller had my name,said he was from Windows and needed to speak with the owner of home computer,I asked what I could help him with, he asked again for owner of Computer, I hung up. he tried calling back, I didnt answer 2nd time.
This # has been calling several times. They do not leave a message but after reading everyone's post, I am glad I did not answer. The caller ID says Pauline Poghosy. SCAM!!
Also, I don't recall the phone #, but I recently received a call from a guy who said he was from the IRS and I owed some back money. I definitely don't, but he was not nice about it. Be CAREFUL!
Got a call around 9am. I didn't pick up - thank heaven, since the number looked familiar and I might have if I wasn't in a hurry. There was no name on the caller ID, just the number. No message left.
YA. SCAM.. almost fell for it. I had just got a new pc. saying he can fix it by phone. and is your pc ON? He should know? I was not home or I may have fallen for it. He will get in and copy files to HIS PC. getting all your passwords.lol
Got the same phone call yesterday April 8th. Only difference is that he didn't have a foreign accent. Didn't fall for it and told him my computer was JUST fine and that I was now gonna hang up on him.
