I received a call from this number. It was a genuine call from Charter (now Spectrum) from a automated system to confirm an appointment for a service technician to visit my home. It is not a scam.
I got a call from this number and the voicemail said it was Charter calling to confirm a service call. I haven't requested a technician or had a problem. I did call Charter to check. I recently recieved a email from Amazon that was a scam, so I'm a bit leery of things like this anymore.
Why do they (Charter) have to call 2 times before they come? Even if you picked up and confirmed, they'll call again tomorrow 45 prior to your appt. just to "remind you" and say goodbye.
no it's a real number unless it's been hacked---am working with charter cable right now and it's the number they used to auto dial a confirmation for an appt.
