I received a call from this number. It was a genuine call from Charter (now Spectrum) from a automated system to confirm an appointment for a service technician to visit my home. It is not a scam.
Yes, it's an automated call from Charter Communications (our local cable company) confirming an appointment for a service call tomorrow that I just scheduled a couple hours ago. Makes no sense they would be calling me so soon and from an unidentified number!! I hate nuisance calls no matter who they're from or why! I called them back and was able to go through it without having to talk to a "real" person. It said they'd be calling again tomorrow 45 minutes before their appointment time.
It is Charter Communications' automated system, calling to confirm a service call. I didn't know who it was and didn't answer. I found this site, so I called them back and they had me confirm a service appt I requested last week.
