I received a call from this number. It was a genuine call from Charter (now Spectrum) from a automated system to confirm an appointment for a service technician to visit my home. It is not a scam.
This number 4802634005 is actually Charter. I just got a call from that strange number and when reversed look up, its not come up a charter number but seeing your post I put 2&2 together and it's legit
I had a call from this number. My caller-ID came up with this number and Phoenix, Az. Didn't recognize the number so I did not answer the phone and a message was left telling me it was Charter. Which I had called earlier to have them come out and check why my HD channels were going hey-wire. With so many calls from "credit card services" and "spoofed numbers" I just stopped answering the phone completely. It would help if Charter would at least put who this caller is rather than just Phoenix,Az.
They are only based in AZ. I live in MI and have service with them. The call is to confirm a service appt. if you've never heard of them, they probably called you in error (they have the wrong number / old number for a customer on file).
