I have had the same experience. This same phone number (503) 270-4005 called me 3x in the past 2 hours leaving no voicemals. Thanks for this blog I was able to figure out who it is. Seterus also has my first mortgage. Luckily they have my google voice number so I was able to go on there & block ALL FUTURE CALLS from the phone number. I suggest doing the same. Good luck!
Same here, but I wonder why bankofamerica been a strong in costumers transferred so many loans to them all of the sudden? even those who were paying on time.
Most likely Seterus has only purchased the right to Service your mortgage, not your actual mortgage. When you refinance, check with the lender ahead of time to see if they service their own loans, ask what the percentage of their loans that they do service, and ask if they have ever sold servicing rights to Seterus
this is a company that purcahse loans from BOA, they are a pain with all the calls and not leaving mesages. they are not the friendliest ca llem back, its your choice,
I also had a BOA mortgage for 5 years, then 2 months ago, they sent me a letter saying they had transferred the servincing of my loan to Seterus. Then I started getting calls from this 5032704005 number over and over - sometimes 5x a day. Since I have been in contact with Seterus and their 866 number I don't understand why all of the calls. Now after reading everyone else is having the same issue I know I didn't personally do anything to deserve this kind of action. I hope Seterus does work with me as I am struggling paying my mortgage in full every month on time. What have we all gotten ourselves into?
