These [***] keep calling several times a day and it is annoying as hell. I spoke to them once and told them to take me off their calling list, but they said that they had been sold my mortgage from BOA. I responded with "so what?" And they responded with "do you want to keep your home?" I was thrown back and said,"whatever, I don't have time for this." And hung up. I always made my payments on time and they are automatically withdrawn. What's up with these [***]?
Unfortunately when my mortgage transferred from BAC to Seterus, they also got my work/cell numbers. Now I've had this number for over FIVE years and has not one telemarketing call... but once Seterus got my number, not only did they call 2 or 3 times a day, EVERY day (you're supposed to get a 10 day grace period, but they start calling the day after your payment was due), I've been getting telemarketing calls several times a day since Seterus got my number.
Luckily, I have Sprint, and can go into my account settings under preferences and block texts/calls, but it's a hassle, and after the 50th number, you have to call Sprint to add any more numbers.
I am livid that I am forced to do business with this company and had no choice in the matter. Their business practices appear to be quite sketchy.
This number has called me 10 times in the past week. I have now told 2 different callers that the name of the people they are looking for do not have this (my) number. Said they would take the number off the list,. We shall see.
Seterus started servicing my Bank of America loan in October. Their phone calls are very annoying. They only call my cell phone and will not change the number. When I asked them to use my home number they stated that this was the number given to them and it cannot be changed. They then asked me for my work phone number. I questioned them "If you are my mortgage holder, why don't you have my work information?" They told me that they are only servicing the loan and that they were given very limited information. Don't tell them anything ! They are only there to collect and will harrass you constantly. They do not care that you have a 15 day grace period either.
