My husband and I both got calls from a number that only said 201 on our cell pone caller ids. The automated message said our bank debit card had been deactivated and that we needed to call an 1800 number to reactivated it. We both got the call about one and half hours apart. The message said a company name that was unfamiliar to both of us.
Just a few minutes ago (7/19/08 - 6:55 pm EDT) I received a call from caller ID #795 saying it was (inaudible) federal credit union and my card was suspended due to inaccurate information, and to call 515-414-2182. I called that number, and was told to call 940-239-1018 to reactivate my card. So I did ... and that 940 number is no good. What's up with this???
I just received a call from the number 713 telling me that a credit union has deactivated my card and to call this number back to reactivate my credit card. I don't have a credit card nor do I belong to a credit union. I'm going to send an email to my bank and then visit with them during the week.
