So I got a call from 516-355-6233, the caller was an older female asking for a donation for the "Breast Cancer Survivor's Fund". She asked if I would support the organization again and if I would let them send out a mailer, only if a "pledge" a donation. I declined. I used *67 (blocked my number) and dialed the number back. The message was for the Long Island Park Police..., I also called back the number without *67 and the message was for the "Breast Cancer Survivor's Fund" The voice on both messages was from the same male voice. If the same number to 2 different "organizations" isn't suspicious, I'm not sure what is.
I couldn't catch exactly what he said when he called except he was collecting for some police drive. I explained that both my husband and I are out of work and have been for quite sometime and he kept pressuring me that $15. would be the minimum. I said look I just don't have it and he starts up again.
rcvd call from EFLS looking for donation for the state police advising me that i had been generous in the past, looking to see if i could do better this year with a new donation. I have never given to them in the pst as they say, so they asked if they could mail me a donation envelope.
they keep pressuring you to make a donation, can't take no for an answer.

I just send an e-mail to whatever charity that uses the rude people telling them I will send my money to a charity that does not employee such rude people. I also tell them I will inform all my friends to send there money to other charities.
We have to hit the charities that employ the low life no respect company that lie and hang up when asked to be put on there do not call list
