So I got a call from 516-355-6233, the caller was an older female asking for a donation for the "Breast Cancer Survivor's Fund". She asked if I would support the organization again and if I would let them send out a mailer, only if a "pledge" a donation. I declined. I used *67 (blocked my number) and dialed the number back. The message was for the Long Island Park Police..., I also called back the number without *67 and the message was for the "Breast Cancer Survivor's Fund" The voice on both messages was from the same male voice. If the same number to 2 different "organizations" isn't suspicious, I'm not sure what is.
Said they were a local breast cancer chapter in my town of Commack without me even telling them where i lived. I told her that I donate to Susan G. Komen but she wanted my address to send me an envelope for a small $12 booster which I did not give her. Said she was calling from Commack but the area code on caller ID was not 631 but 516. Finally hung up on her.
I am receiving calls from EFLS, for months. But now the numbers are 516 616-3023 and 516 355-6235. Police fund raising and hang ups. They never leave a message. Just started blocking the calls. Where do you report such annoying scams?
Received numerous calls from EFLS & EFLS 5. Different phone #'s 516 355 6228 & 6235. Also 516 616 3023. I never answer them just let them go to the answering machine. But they never leave a message. Just received 1 call today. Some days they call 5 or 6 times. Very persistent. I only decided today to see if I could find out who they were. that's when I found this site.
I got two calls from EFLS at (516) 355-6235 and (516) 874-0894. They were cacking, laughing. Very unprofessional. I receommend not even taking this call. Sounds like a scam or donations.
