If your number is removed from the card service's robodialer after you called them back and requested it be, you will become famous.You will be the first person in history to accomplish that feat!
I answer and immediately HANG UP within one second, since doing this it fools the robo dialer to think it is an invalid number. I'm down to about 4 to 5 calls a week from as many as 25 to 30 - Not sure if this is the reason but it does seem to have helped.
For those persistent return callers, I bought a Digitone call blocker, with it, the phone rings only once then the Digitone hangs up on the blocked caller. It's the best $99 bucks I have spent but you need caller ID for it to work. You can even block whole area codes like 800 and unidentified numbers.
