Called this afternoon.  Caller ID shows "Lower Interest".  Recorded message talked about this was my last chance to lower my interest/

FCC has decided to stop honoring the DO Not Call List. I wrote to complain since I was getting calls from 8:30am to 9:30pm several times a day. They told me no harm is being committed and does not consider this harassment.

"...Very important message concerning your credit card"...

People who have listened to the card service's "very important message concerning your credit card" and gave the scammers their credit card numbers have suffered severe financial losses.

Actually, just the fact that they're able to leave a message on an answering machine lets them know that it's a working ("good") number, too.
