Have received calls from this number on several occasion say that they are with Windows. THIS IS A SCAM. They try to gain remote access of your computer to hack your information. They tell you that they are getting error reports from your computer and need remote access to fix it. DON'T DO IT. Windows is a Microsoft product and; after a chat with Microsoft corporate; understand they Microsoft will NEVER INITIATE contact with you unless you specifically request contact. BLOCK THIS NUMBER! Also they have called back within minutes with a call that has no caller ID. It's the same demons.
I receive a call from 718-658-7748 almost daily or sometimes twice a day. I never answer my telephone. Tonight they called a 6:35 p.m. and called back at 7:25 p.m. Whomever that's calling and harassing people using this 'SPOOFED' number, I wish bad health on them and their families.
Sean, I received calls 2 times a day from 718-658-7748. They called me today around 12:25 p.m. I suggest that people call their Congressperson and Senator offices on Capitol Hill to put pressure on Verizon and other telephone carriers to block spoof calls to their customers. Sean, I wish the worse type of cancer on the people that are making these harassing telephone calls to millions of Americans. It's a shame to have a non published number and being on the 'Do Not Call List' still getting these annoying harassing calls.
Stupid [***] or Indian trying to claim he was from "Windows technical service". I flat out told him he was NOT from Windows technical service, that he was a scam artist, and to go away. THEN he called AGAIN from a different number! Answered, said the same thing as soon as I heard his voice, hung up, and blocked both numbers.
They claimed to be with Microsoft, at first and then with windows, for another number, They wanted me to get on my computer and so they could fix the corrupt files , I had gotten a call from microsoft, they sent me a code to reset my account, After that these people started to call, and call and call, and every time, I would ask then not to call me any more, then didn't know what windows I was using , I would hate to think what would have happened if I would have gotten, on my computer..but I have great security and it repair's and fixes any problems my computer is having, but to my knowledge I'm not having any problems, My computer is running fine, and it's going to stay that way, No thanks to the callers ...LOL
Same at those other reports Indian accent saying that my computer is downloading files to there server and he's from
microsoft windows..I told him if he's from windows and microsoft then he should fix his own problem.
I taunted him until he cussed me out I caused him to wast 12 min of time that he did not cheat other people.

if you get a call from this number just reported on this website it's the best thing you can do tell your experience to
others so that he will not fall victim tell everybody you can warn the people that don't know others do not get ripped off
The whole scam is if you do what he say he takes control of your computer downloads a virus and tries to charge you
$169.00 US to repair your computer.
He says that it's all your fault and you must pay the money to get your computer to work again and he really does break your computer.
