Got a call from same number this morning. There are two people involved - First caller said his name is John Cruz and told me I have police complaint and legal affidavit against me. Asked me to call back once his supervisor is there. Later his "so-called" supervisor called by name David Marshall and said the same thing. Asked me to settle the matter quick. Was talking about the state tax evasion. The moment I said my CPA will contact you, he said we cannot help you and hung up. I called my local police department and let the officer know about this. He said these guys must be pranksters - ignore them or tell them that you have asked the state/local police to get involved - and they should back out.
I also got call from this number. Message was from David Mill. When I called back I reached State Investigator Officer David Marshall Office. He told me in very fast pace that I have three charges 1. Fed Bank fraud, ... IRS...., and ...Theft. It was hard to follow. He then said that I did not pay my IRS tax for 2010. when I asked why NJ state is investigating Fed case he hang-up on me. I called back, this time some other guy picked and he did say same things. I asked him to slow down as I cannot understand him becuse of his accent and lot of backgroung noises. He transfered me to his so called supervisor Jim Parker. He repeated same charges and asked me to resolve right away otherwise an arresting order will be issued. When I said I don't want to resolve it he said he cannot help but order my arrest and hang-up. I hope they get arrested.
My wife received a call from 732-964-0148 at my home phone from a person identifying himself to be Officer Ron Davis. He asked for me by name and when asked what this was about, he told her that there was an ongoing investigation against me for tax fraud. He threatened her that we would be arrested in the evening and that our citizenship would be revoked. When I tried to reach 732-964-0148 the caller did not pick-up and the voicemail announced that it was a Magic Jack customer. I called back again and the person identified himself to be Officer Ron Davis. When I asked what kind of officer, he replied "Police Officer." And when I asked which state, he said United States. When I told him there is nothing called a United States police officer he hung up! I made a complaint to the FTC at
These people called 2 times. Then when I called them back and started questioning them back, they started giving me curses in Hindi.
It has becomming a passtime for me to call this no to give the taste of harrassment back to them. I would advice the same to ohters also. Put this no on a fax machine and keep faxing things to them so that they get repeatedly harassed. Tit for tat.
