This is clearly a scam. Caller said her name was Annie Johnson. Her accent was incredibly thick, and she spoke in seriously broken English. Dept of Legal Affairs my a$$...

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Mine was William Rogers. Indian accent. Quite nice and polite. Call was for my daughter, her second. First one was real nasty, woman and american. Said it was about a law enforcement action filed against her. I can't believe people fall for this stuff. Have called police. Might call back and play along for awhile. If they are bothering me, they are not scamming another person. My good deed for the day.
My sister in law received a call from Alan Clark with badge number 94152. He told her to call back and speak with Sean Gibson. Apparently, there is a warrant out for her arrest. I am an attorney so I called and asked to speak with Sean. The person answering the phone said he was Sean's supervisor and how could he be of assistance. When I identified myself as an attorney, all of a sudden Sean was going to call me back within the hour. I said, why should I speak with Sean if you are his supervisor? A moment ago, you told me that you could handle it. He said Sean would call me back because he had all of the details of the case. I asked if he had my contact information and name and he said he did. I doubt I will be hearing from Sean any time soon.
I got a call at 6:30 tonight. With the same thing. I was scard call the Columbus cops. It almost got me into a stroke again. Wish the gov do something.
