This is clearly a scam. Caller said her name was Annie Johnson. Her accent was incredibly thick, and she spoke in seriously broken English. Dept of Legal Affairs my a$$...
Call from same number, "Glenn" heavy accent , stated there were problems with my 2009-10 tax return, owed money , said they sent several notices in the mail ( that's when I knew it wasn't legit, I would have remembered that!) said there was a warrant out for my arrest! Did some digging, figured it was a scam, called him back and said u was goin to turn him in and he said "f *** you [***] and hung up. Lovely
I have been prank calling them since yesterday. this last call as I pretended to be an elderly person, he asked me to stop waisteing his time. I laughed and said I had just begun.
These guys sure must be busy... they called us today and tried to accuse me of not paying taxes... when i told them that my husband did our taxes, they hung up. This time it was Inspector "Shaun Gibson"
