I'm up to 7 calls from this # today, at my work number. I'm no longer even bothering to pick up (I was leaving the receiver on my desk, not saying anything, till he hung up). How fun! (Sarcasm)
I also got a call from this number. There was a lot of background noise, and a man, with what sounded to be an Indian accent, said my name. When I said, "yes", we were disconnected.
Checked out my first call from this number and heard the Magic Jack recording. In the past, "Matthew" from supposedly 1) John Wiley & Sons, 2) Microsoft, and 3) Staples claimed to be returning various managers' calls. He wouldn't leave a number, saying he'd phone back. Then an unnamed person, allegedly from UPS, had a package for a non-existent employee. Today's episode, however, was the winner. Another man or the same (all with an Indian accent) requested a specific manager. I asked what the call was in reference to. He wanted to know whether the manager was here. I reiterated my question. He said, "You tell me if he's there, and then I'll tell you what it's about." I replied, "Sorry, that's not how it works," and slammed the receiver down. And now on to the next annoying number complaint.
So many calls from this number to our switchboard, asking for various people. Today they're calling from "UPS... re: a package". I told the caller to take our number off his call list and hung up on him.... Enough already!!!
