We don't even have credit cards. When it asked to push 1 to be transferred to a representative, I did so and simply said, "How do I get removed from your call list?"...they hung up. I called back and got a recording that said, "Thank you for calling back. To be removed from this list press 1 (again) which I did. I do not expect to stop receiving these calls. If anyone knows what I need to do to get them to stop, I'm all over it.
TECLO 971-220-1002 - call constantly. Saying they want to reduce credit card rate. No one on the other end of the line. It hangs up if I press 1 to speak with the rep. when they say to. No option to stop further calls. Each time they call the recording says that this is the last time they will call....then they call again and again and again....
Be carefull dealing with these people, I don't know how they are in business, they are a scam. They claim to be in some program to help lower credit card rates, it is a total scam. They leave messages on my machine about this is my last chance to get this or that and I get at least 3 a week, all hours of the day and weekends too. If anyone gets one of these please go online and report it to your states Attorney Generals office, it can net YOU a $400.00 profit for doing so. I watched a news show a few years back and they were telling about when the no call list went into effect back in like 89 or 90 and George H. Bush did one thing really nice for the people, he set it up to where the complaintiff gets the cash, not the state for the fine they charge these morons for harassing you. It even told of a man in Colorado who had got to 3 or 4 that year and had made $2700.00 for his trouble, as many will settle for more than the $400.00 fine to keep their name off the States bad person list so to speak, one had paid like $1200.00 instead. Apparently, if they get enough complaints from the same state they can get in a lot more trouble so they settle to the person for way more than the fine the Government charges. Everyone on this webpage should file a complaint online through their states office, it doesn't take much time at all, and if your like most and myself, I could use the extra cash and maybe get their attention to quit hassling me all the time. Privacy is privacy, I pay my phone bills and talk to who I want, we all have a right to be left alone if we choose and they should respect that too when they start their, "I'm just a telemarketer, and I need to make a living too", well make it without bother everyone.
