Caller ID was "FINANCIAL CTR". Message left was about: "reducing credit card interest rates to as little as 6% if I owe at least $3000 and one card is in good standing."
This outfit from Oregon keeps calling my work landline. If I'm in the mood, I opt thru the recording and wait for a live scammer. Then I talk dirty to them. They end the call quickly.
I am called from this area code every day several times a day that say they are Credit Card Services. They say they can reduce my credit cardinterest rate to 4.9%. I have called 972.220.1032 back push 1 to be taken off the list over and over. They called me again tonight and I ask who I talk to about taking me off the list and she hung up in me. The next time they called I will scream at them. Fair warning.
I have also gotten the same. I stayed on the line since I've pressed 1 before and they didn't take me off the list. I talked to a lady who asked if I was wanting to discuss lowering my debt. I said, "this is what you called me about, right?" she said yes, and proceeded to ask me if I had 3,000 in debt. I asked her how she got my information and then I heard a fumbling of the phone and then she hung up. I have gotten many calls and am SO sick of it.
Dont get mad, don't yell or scream. Forget the DNC and the FCC!
Buy a call blocking phone. Both Panasonic and Uniden make very nice call blockers.
They're very inexpensive and they BLOCK CALLS!
